Privacy Policy
This policy explains how YanVPN handles account, transaction, and website access data when providing cross-border network access subscriptions. It describes the separate uses of data from the user panel, marketing pages, and network connections.
Account and Order Data
YanVPN does not require an email address. An account can be created with a username and password, so an email address is not required to open an account. The username identifies the account, and the password is stored as a one-way verification value for authentication. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information in your username.
To deliver subscriptions, verify payments, and provide support, this service stores account-linked plan details, order numbers, transaction status, traffic allowances, and cumulative usage. Cumulative usage is used for billing, not to reconstruct browsing activity. When submitting a support ticket, details and attachments provided by the user are used to resolve the relevant issue. Please first redact any unrelated personal information and credentials from attachments.
No-Logs Policy and Connection Diagnostics
YanVPN does not record which websites users visit through network access connections, or store browsing content, request bodies, or lists of destination addresses that could be used to reconstruct browsing history. This service does not maintain long-term connection logs linking accounts to destinations.
During a connection, temporary session status, connection errors, and route diagnostic information may be processed to maintain connections and troubleshoot issues. Temporary session data is cleared when the session ends. Necessary diagnostic records kept for troubleshooting are deleted or de-identified once the issue is resolved and verification is no longer needed; they are not used to build browsing profiles.
Site Analytics and Local Storage
Marketing page analytics help understand page visits, source categories, device types, and feature usage so that content and workflows can be improved. Page analytics are handled separately from browsing activity over network connections and do not mean that websites users access through a route are being recorded.
Cookies and browser local storage are used for session identification, login status, and language preferences. If login credentials are stored locally, someone using the same browser may be able to access the account, so please log out on shared devices. Users can clear or restrict storage through browser settings. Clearing it may require logging in again and will reset preferences.
Third-Party Payments and Required Disclosures
YanVPN supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment service or network, and the information they collect and process is subject to their respective policies. YanVPN receives the transaction identifier, amount, and payment result needed to verify orders; users are not asked to provide payment account passwords.
Order and transaction records may need to be checked when handling payment disputes or refunds. Data is shared only to the extent necessary to deliver the service, process transactions, and meet applicable legal obligations. Browsing activity is not used to verify transactions. Where disclosure is legally required, only necessary data actually held by YanVPN is provided.
Retention Periods and Deletion Requests
Account information is retained while the account remains active and for as long as needed to provide the service. Order and support records are retained for as long as needed to complete transactions, handle disputes, and meet applicable legal requirements. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified; there is no single permanent retention period for all data.
Users can log in to the panel and submit a support ticket to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data. YanVPN will first verify control of the account and explain the scope of processing. Deleting an account may affect subscription use. Unresolved transaction disputes or legal retention requirements may limit the deletion of some records; any such records are used only for the relevant matter.
Policy Updates and Privacy Questions
Updates to this policy will be published on this page, and the month shown at the beginning will be revised. Significant changes to data processing purposes, scope of use, or user rights will be announced on the website or user panel. Where separate consent is legally required, it will be obtained in accordance with applicable requirements.
If you have questions about data processing or the outcome of a deletion request, submit a ticket through the user panel and describe the account and matter involved. Do not include information that is unrelated to verification. Subscription and transaction rules are available in the Terms of Service.
